AI and Jobs: Lose a lot to gain a few
What is there to say? I am no Luddite, but I can tell you it will get real bad before it gets any better. It is not that AI will not deliver us from tedious jobs, the problem is it will not create new jobs for us, not in time to replace lost incomes.
Society will need to change their attitudes towards "socialism" and really get down to helping their citizens navigate this hot mess, until the "new normal" happens.
Until then, the technology asymmetry will continue to rapidly outpace our capacity to even imagine the problem fully.
